The Stapelstein® Base is the foundation of Stapelstein’s Dynamic Sitting System. Its gently curved underside allows soft rocking, tilting and 360° movement, encouraging balance, coordination and body awareness through movement play.

Pair it with a Stapelstein® Board to create an active seat, then add Stapelstein® Originals between the Base and Board to adjust the sitting height as your child grows. No screws, tools or complicated mechanisms are needed.

Made in Germany from ultra-lightweight, 100% recyclable EPP, the Base combines minimalist design with remarkable strength, supporting up to 120 kg.

Please note: The Stapelstein® Base cannot be used as a seat on its own. A Stapelstein® Board is required to create a complete active seat.

stones, etc. into contact with all Stapelstein® products
• Pointed and sharp objects and surfaces can cause permanent damage to the
Stapelstein® products.
• Avoid extreme heat and all possible sources of ignition (flames or sparks).
• When playing in the water, products from Stapelstein® only serve as a toy and
not as a buoyancy aid. Products from Stapelstein® should therefore only be
used in shallow water under adult supervision.
