It all started with a designer who noticed something missing in children’s play — the freedom to move.
In 2015, Stephan Schenk dreamed up Stapelstein®: lightweight, colorful elements that invite kids to balance, build, and move wherever they are. Working alongside educators and his partner Hannah König, he turned that dream into a playful, sustainable system that grows with every child.
Two years later, Stapelstein® was introduced at the Didacta education fair in Germany — and has since found its way into homes, classrooms, and therapy centers across more than 60 countries.
